stormdogHalf reference for me, half for other people who may find it useful.
A fairly exhaustive listing of four digit ODB2 four digit diagnostic codes, including manufacturer specific ones.
I'm bringing my scan gauge tomorrow to get the detailed code. At Mechanic Juan's suggestion, I'm going to jumper the new cam shaft sensor to the wiring harness and see if that helps. Unless the four digit code points at something else. May have to wait 'till I get small alligator clips.
I may also get a AAA membership and have my car towed to Kenowhere. Whee?
The trip to look at the car for sale was fairly uninformative. It's a manual, which I can't drive, so I didn't bother going inside. My mom is going to come with me on Saturday to look at it and, if I buy it, drive it home and teach me how to drive it. Not quite sure if I want to buy it or not yet.
Eh. Bed now.
