The order of business today:

• Wake up pleasantly late since I'm not going to work today.
  
• Realize why I'm not goint to work today. *sigh*
  
• Figure out what temp agency and other places I'm applying.
  
• Realize this will involve lots of dealing with people.
  
• Panic panic panic
  
• Finally, get information together and go out and do it.
  
  How far did I get? Well, not very. I'll put my paperwork in at the temp agency on Monday since they don't accept applications 'till then. I did talk to the people there briefly and pick up paperwork which I've filled out. I stopped at a computer store and asked about an application and was told that, basically, I need a resumè and that they're not hiring right now anyway. I'll see what I can do as far as that goes, but it's tough to translate 5+ yeas of tinkering with computer hardware and no real experience into a resumè. I wish I had managed to get A+ cert, but I never quite had time and/or money. The second computer place I intended to try was gone. *shrug*
  
  Tomorrow I'm going to go try filing for unemployment. I feel a little odd about doing that since I had indicated to the people at Kenzer that I probably wouldn't do so, but I think I may be eligable and I need the money in case nothing else works out. Tom can deliver my apologies. I may also apply for a job doing oil changes that I found on the wisconsin job system website. At least it's money...
  
  My server is still down. This is stressing me out. I've tried 3 differant versions of Win2k (don't ask me where I got them) and Mercury Mail Transport crashes under every one of them. I'm beginning to think the BIOS has a problem with the new hard drive being too big maybe, but I don't know why that would cause the symptoms I'm having.
