Lots going on today. Got to pack up to leave for Detroit tomorrow. We may end up just hanging around the hotel (or more specifically, the hotel's indoor pool) all day since it looks like it's going to be hella hot. Me, I'm happy doing anything considering who I'm doing it with.

Got a phone call today from ~~Pick a Slave~~ Pick N' Save about the application I put in with them. I have an interview on Tuesday at 2:00 (if I put it here I won't forget! *g*) for a position as a part time cashier. Certainly not my ideal job and I still hope the UPS package handler thing proves fruitful, but I can deal with it. If I feel the urge to murder any particularly stupid humans I have to deal with, I will just have to amuse myself by contemplating how I'll write the experience up for customerssuck.com, which is also a good site to go to when you need a reminder that, however stupid the people you're dealing with are, there are far worse out there. I am pleased to have a job, even if it's part time, and I can certainly deal with it for a month and a half until the move.

More interesting occurrences. Just when I got my server up and running, it seems that all of www.fdns.net, the place that provides me with my free third level domain, is down. I can't browse, trace, or ping the main site or any related addresses. This kinda sucks. I hope it's only temporary. Still, can't complain about a free service.
