Apr. 30th, 2010 08:42 amWe have reached the phase where we're just sticking everything in boxes to sort through later. Fortunately, there really isn't that much of 'everything' left. Some stuff in the bathroom, stuff in the kitchen (fridge and freezeer contents), and the rack for my anvil in the garage. Maybe a few more bits of miscellany.
My car is full of stuff going to my parents' house right now; I'm going to unload it as I work (my work computer is set up in their basement) and, at noon, drive over to the Kenosha house and again help load some stuff into my car.
Moira and I had a late dinner/early-early breakfast at Denny's that finished around 11:30. I had pancake puppies for the first time. Puppies!! Grrrwoofwoof! They were interesting. I think I like them.
I finally got to bed around 1:15, and waited until quarter to 2 to make sure Moira had made it home safely before I crashed at my parents' place again. I'm up and awake, but I could really use a nap. And a shower. A shower like woah. The landlord's handyman is doing a walkthrough at 3:00, at which point we should be done-done. I know what I'm doing after work tonight, for sure. Zzzzzzzz.

My God - It's Full of...Computers?

This is my Neon, packed full of cruft to take to an Earth Day computer recycling event. My trunk, and my mother's car, were packed to bursting as well, and we still didn't get all of the stuff I'd hoarded over the years, but it was the majority of it. I still have the passenger seat out of it, and the empty space is completely filled with old computers.
It feels so good to have all that stuff gone.
(I shot this with my cameraphone, since my nice camera is, unfortunately, not functional.)
