stormdogI biked to the train station this morning and really enjoyed it. I didn't know how long it would take so I left early. I'm still not sure because I didn't think to time myself, but I had about fifteen minutes to spare. I'll check my speed on the way back to the house this evening before going over to Serin and Todd's place for movies. It felt good to be physically active.
I'm in charge of incoming tickets this morning at work, and my usual partner is out, so it's me by myself. There's a great deal of stuff going on in my life that's stressing me out significantly these days, and that makes it that much harder to concentrate on work. Or, really, much of anything.
I really need some new work shoes. I've been wearing a pair of Doc Martens for a while, but they're heavy and clunky and hurt my feet. When I'm wearing them, I'm not inclined to do things like jump up on the slanted windowsills along Canal street and do three-step spins on them like I usually do on the way back to the station. Maybe I'll walk over to Salvation Army at lunch and see if I can find some like the past pair I completely wore out.
I may go look for breakfast at McDonald's shortly. Which doesn't really help for eating healthy, but I'm really hungry, and it's here.
