I called my grandfather to schedule our trip to see the Forevertron that he and I have been talking about for some time. (Pictures of said otherworldly piece of outsider art forthcoming when I get to them). We decided on This coming Saturday to meet up and drive out there.
I realized after talking to him that I was supposed to have a guy coming on Saturday to buy Igor the Neon. Ok; I called grandpa back and reschedules for that Monday. I have the day off work anyway. All was well.
Then I got a message on the Neon forum from the buyer; he wants to come on Sunday. My Saturday is free after all.
All is good anyway. I'm going to go with Grandpa on Monday, deal with car stuff and watch fireworks on Sunday, and have a Saturday free. Still, I'm going to be really really glad when I'm done with all this stuff with both old car and new and I have my weekends to myself again.
Speaking of time to myself, how cool is it that the keyboard I bought yesterday for a dollar may well finance my entire upcoming Michigan road trip?
