stormdogYou know what makes me smile? The little yellow doggy who searches your files for you in Windows XP when you use the "Search Companion" function. He's cute.
That said, I didn't realize for a long time that he made an occasional noise. Once in a long while, when I left him open in the background behind other windows, there'd be an occasional unidentified noise (that I finally figured out the program was making) and I'd start hunting through all the programs and web-page tabs I had sprawling across my monitors, asking "What is making that noise? Where the hell is it coming from?"
