stormdogI cannot sleep tonight. Just not happening. So I'm writing a bit. I think I need to do more writing of entries on LJ that are for me only. It helps me keep my internal editor at bay so I can get more of my feelings and experiences put down. Most of what I post doesn't delve too deeply into my inner state these days, and I want to have more of that sort of thing to look back on.
Also, with all the weirdness and instability of the LJ platform lately, I decided I'd better back it up in case it goes away. The PDF that LJBook (a free third-party app to back up your content into a PDF) generated is 3811 pages long and about 70MB big. I've been here for a long time. My first entry is from February of 2003.
The seeds of who I am were there, I think. But I'm so very very different. One of these days I'll go back and read through some of it. The idea is a little anxiety producing. But I'm glad I have the option.
And I'm not done transforming myself yet!
