stormdogJust to keep people from going "Where the heck are Moira and Storm?", I should note that we are still in Wisconsin as of this writing. I noticed that Andrea seemed a little off through most of the morning and as we got to the point along 41 where it merges into I-94 south it became clear that the raccoon girl was in no fit state to make the trip. She's developed a rather nasty migraine.
I managed to drive her back to the house after getting tylenol for both of us. I was developing a slight stress headache as well which got worse after realizing that the tylenol I had taken was the stuff with the sleep aid which I conveniently noticed after I had taken the stuff. I panicked a bit after that (which probably didn't help much; I probably made things a little worse and I feel really bad about any part I might have had in my beloved's problems) and called my parents who managed to calm me down.
I got it together and drove us back to their house, stopping of necessity every fifteen to twenty minutes when the sensations of riding in the car got to be too painful for Andrea. We got her into a dark quiet room that my family prepared for her (I am so grateful for their assistance to my sweetie) and she took one of the generic vicodin still around from when I broke my wrist a few years ago. (They made me take one at the hospital and I never touched them again. Quite honestly, anything that powerful makes me really nervous, but I'm glad we still had them around.) She slept while I played Samurai Swords with my parents and Tim. We just finished up a little while ago and Andrea just got up and is eating a pizza I made for her and she's ok.
Anyway, we're ok and will probably be heading back to Michigan tomorrow. *note to self, reschedule interview tomorrow...* I was really worried about her for a while, but she's much better now so I can go to sleep and probably will soon. Goodnight...
