Jul. 7th, 2014 08:05 pmI could keep going through all the stuff in the file cabinet full of old console games up here, putting it up for auction on Ebay. I could deal with photographing, writing auction copy, waiting for the auction to end, waiting to get paid, shipping the cartridge, hoping the buyer likes what he gets, and leaving feedback.
Or I could just take this lot of stuff over to the local game store that offers credit on trade ins and use it toward the board game I've been wanting for some time now. And you know, that second option is really sounding appealing. I just posted a copy of Castlevania IV for the SNES, which seems to be a sought-after cartridge. I was going to do the Genesis version of Shadowrun next. I have the original box and the cartridge, but I don't have a Genesis to test it on. If I bring it to the local store, they can test it and give me more in credit. I think I'm going to consult with my brothers and just bring most of the rest of this stuff over there.
