I've been kind of annoyed by the derogatory tone of a lot of stuff from Daily KOS for a while, but was never motivated to do anything about it. A recent Facebook post containing the headline "Donald Trump is a Deluded Belligerent Tea Bagging Conspiracy Nut, just like GOP Base" has moved me across the line. I'm unfollowing the Facebook feed and unsubscribing from email. This is not helpful dialogue.

I just sent the following email to their contact address:

"Hi there!

I've been following Daily KOS for a while. I've been kind of annoyed by the derogatory tone of a lot of stuff here for a while, but was never motivated to do anything about it. A recent Facebook post containing the headline "Donald Trump is a Deluded Belligerent Tea Bagging Conspiracy Nut, just like GOP Base" has moved me across the line. I'm unfollowing the Facebook feed and unsubscribing from email. This is not helpful dialogue. I can't respectfully engage with people who disagree with me politically while appearing to support sweepingly negative mischaracterizations and dismissals of those same people.

That said, I wish you the best in your mission of being a voice for, and community of, progressive political action. Best wishes on your work, and may it be a part of moving the country in the right direction.
