Stress and Games
Jan. 9th, 2015 01:56 amMachines are pretty. I want to climb them. How could you not? Look at that ladder, running right up the side. Teasing. Cajoling. Tempting me with a wonderful view at the top of an adrenaline-triggering climb. Why do they put ladders on things if you're not supposed to climb them!? Whose idea is that, anyway? I should write a strongly-worded letter to my representative.
I just played through Psy High, the Interactive Fiction game I wrote about, a second time. I'm feeling way anxious tonight and am trying to do some relaxing things. I'm thinking again about talking to a counselor at school about whether the levels of anxiety I feel are reasonable. I know, I keep saying it, then I don't do it. I should. I should.
And I should probably get some sleep.
